The skies over Glotory are considered among worldly travelers as the most astonishing of all intergalactic tourist landings.  They are blue, as common as those of Earth's, but its unique chemical composition in combination with polarity tension to its third Moon, Fricus, gives it glittery gold strands which spiral from a thousand million random starting points against the universe, seemingly to the ground.  These are similar to Earth's rainbows but a hundred times more spectacular and consistent.  They are a permanent feature wherever your eye may idle upward.

They do not interfere with sunlight, nor are they a material hazard for aircraft or airborne creatures who find the reams of golden light easily scarfed through as though they nary existed at all.

While not a hazard, they can nonetheless interfere with terrestrial and satellite communication.  Early settlers of Glotory relied almost exclusively on wired technology and tight beams of microwave communication whenever a clear path might be found through them.  It was not always possible, therefore necessitating reliance on the former.
